At the heart of the Atlas 8.8 is a lightweight carbon frame and fork that deliver an ideal balance of stiffness and compliance. It feels responsive when you put the power down, yet smooth and stable over rough roads and gravel tracks. The integrated Prep Pocket with included Prep Pack gives you clever built in storage for tools and ride essentials, keeping your setup clean and ready for longer adventures.
Shifting is handled by the latest SRAM Apex AXS wireless drivetrain, paired with the robust SRAM Eagle Transmission rear derailleur. This 1x12 setup with a wide 10 to 52T cassette gives you all the range you need for steep climbs, fast flats and everything in between, with the added benefit of precise, cable free shifting.
Rolling on DT Swiss G1800 wheels and Schwalbe G One R Pro tubeless ready tyres, the Atlas 8.8 offers excellent grip, durability and efficiency across changing surfaces. The wide 45mm tyres add comfort and control, making rough gravel feel smoother and more manageable.
The cockpit is designed with both performance and integration in mind, featuring the Focus C I S 2.0 stem with internal cable routing and a mount for Garmin or Wahoo devices. Finishing touches like the carbon seatpost and ergonomic gravel handlebar help reduce fatigue on longer rides.
Weighing in at approximately 9.5 kg and supporting a system weight of up to 135 kg, the Focus Atlas 8.8 is ready for everything from fast weekend rides to fully loaded bikepacking trips.
